Kivejinja tips non-Banyoro

KIBAALE-The third deputy prime minister and information minister, Kirunda Kivejinja, has advised non-Banyoro to be loyal to the indigenous people and respect the Omukama if peace is to prevail in the region. Speaking at a workshop at Kibaale Hotel on Thursday, Kivejinja said the Bunyoro Kingdom was known for accommodating multilingual societies. He warned that the Government will not tolerate such conflicts and cited the Land Act, that states that any person who lives on a piece of land for more than 12 years becomes a resident of that area.
