GOING for swimming can be easier and more enjoyable if you have a swimming costume. Swimming costumes come in a variety of designs and types.

When choosing a swimming costume, you should know your size. It is advisable that you buy one that fits you well.

Costumes that are too tight may be uncomfortable and can cause embarrassment for example they can tear when you are swimming.

It is also good to consider who you are going to swim with. A swimming costume you wear in front of your family and friends is not the same you wear when you are alone or with your partner.

So, avoid designs that will cause discomfort to the people you have gone to swim with. Get a swimsuit that will not make you feel edgy or uneasy about yourself.

You should also consider your character and beliefs when buying a swimming costume. If you are a shy person, pick a
costume that does not expose much flesh and thus make you feel free.

If you are a Christian or Muslim, you can get a good decent swimming costume from shops.

One’s body structure should also be considered when buying a swimming costume. Someone should look for a design that is appropriate and flatters their body.

For example, some people look good in a two-piece costume while others would evoke sympathy and reproach from people around them.

You can buy good swimming costumes from Euro Sports on Kampala Road. Here swimming costumes cost between sh25,000 and sh 30,000.

Ryan Cosmetic Shop in Wandegeya sells costumes for both children and adults. Their prices range from sh7000 to sh15,000.

At Makerere University swimming pool, costumes cost between sh4,000 and sh60,000. At St. Balikuddembe Market you can get one at sh1,000.
