AFRICAN volleyball president Amr Elwani arrives in Kampala today to inspect facilities that will host the 16th Africa Women’s Championship in September.

AFRICAN volleyball president Amr Elwani arrives in Kampala today to inspect facilities that will host the 16th Africa Women’s Championship in September.

Elwani is set to inspect Lugogo indoor stadium and International School of Uganda grounds in Lubowa, where the Uganda Volleyball Federation plans to host the two week championships.

Kenya, Egypt, Tunisia, Mauritius, Cameroon, Algeria, Nigeria and Ethiopia have confirmed their participation.

He will also inspect Speke Resort Munyonyo where the visiting teams will be booked in before addressing the press at the Ministry of Education and Sports headquarters in Kampala at 2pm today.
