THE Police have questioned a pastor over the importation of a machine designed to cause electrical shocks.

Obiri Yeboah Kinjo was interrogated for over one hour by the Police in Entebbe on Friday when he went to claim the gadget.

The Germany-made machine produces a mild electric current once activated. The user wears it on the leg. It brings about a mild shock to anybody wearing a watch or carrying a mobile phone who comes near the user.

The customs officials became suspicious when they saw the gadget and alerted the aviation security.

The Police suspects that the pastor wanted to use it to prove to his congregation that he had supernatural powers. “Our concern is that the congregation could be duped that he has powers to do extra-ordinary things,” the Police spokesman, Asan Kasingye, told The New Vision.

“If anybody uses a device for activities other than the purpose it was meant for, such a person has to be investigated.”
