LILLIAN Mbabazi is a radio presenter with Capital FM and also a member of the popular pop and RnB girl trio, the BLU*3. Essence caught up with her for a quick chat on her life, interests and fantasies.

Revelation: I am a very friendly person. Many people don’t know that I am approachable because people seem very afraid to say anything to me.

Beauty products:
Johnsons lotion and Yardley lip gloss.

Hobbies: Reading novels and swimming.

Dream destination: Hawaii! It is a beautiful place you can go and relax and take the pressure off your head.

Hairstyle: I love dreadlocks. If they are well kempt, dreadlocks look really nice. I am neither into flashy hairstyles nor very adventurous with my hair, but I would like to try it out one day.

Role model: Beyonce because she is so hard working.

A real woman: Is somebody who is true to herself and takes care of herself. She takes pride in who she is and doesn’t listen to stereotypes that people perceive of what a real woman is supposed to be.

Boarding or day school: Boarding school: it teaches a child a certain level of independence and responsibility. A child can be prepared for the kind of things that lie ahead in the future.

Stardom reality: Not everyone likes you. You’ll have people making nasty comments about you and wanting to pull you down or make you feel bad. I have learnt to brush it off although sometimes they hurt you and may even make you cry.
