SOME consumers have reported shortages of beer in Lubaga Division since the festive days.

They said the shortage was mostly of Nile Breweries’ Club Pilsner and Nile Special brands.
“Several pubs around Kabuusu are still out of stock of Nile Special and Club Pilsner. The shortage, which started on Christmas eve, has continued this week,†they said.
Some bar owners confirmed the shortage but attributed it to hoarding by suppliers who expected scarcity to force prices up. “We got limited supplies of Nile Breweries products.
