AGENTS of the different political parties will be allowed to escort ballot boxes and other election materials from Kampala to their final destinations, the Electoral Commission chairman, Badru Kiggundu, has said.

AGENTS of the different political parties will be allowed to escort ballot boxes and other election materials from Kampala to their final destinations, the Electoral Commission chairman, Badru Kiggundu, has said.
Addressing local government and parliamentary candidates from Arua district at Arua catholic centre on Tuesday, Kiggundu said parties were free to trail the election materials but at their own expense.
He said the commission was financially constrained to afford any extra costs though it is a useful programme.
