Army cleans Busolwe hospital

THE Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) from Rubongi Garrison, Tororo on Thursday cleaned Busolwe Hospital and the town council as part of festivities to mark the army week.

THE Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) from Rubongi Garrison, Tororo on Thursday cleaned Busolwe Hospital and the town council as part of festivities to mark the army week.
Tororo RDC Dauda Kasibante said 80 UPDF soldiers, led by Maj. Leonard Nakalya, also picked up the rubbish that littered the compound at the FDC offices.
He said the soldiers sang revolutionary songs as they cleaned the streets.
“Some FDC supporters were so happy that they decided to cross to the NRM. Others told me that they opted to join FDC after failing to secure jobs,†Kasibante said.
