GIVE them a thrill and make life an
expedition. Walkways are simple and very easy to make. If not painted, a walkway will look very natural and rustic and will interestingly evoke a feel of wilderness, writes Winifred Rukidi.
There are plenty of wooden poles on the market. Those that are chemically-treated against termites are more expensive, but last for longer periods.
The walkway, if well-made, will last a long time in the garden and when the children have outgrown it, you may dismantle the structure and the garden will be left without much re-designing to be done.
