Sanyu Beemer gone

When no one walked away with the 88.2 Sanyu Fm and Ramzan Motors Beemer at the close of last year, idle talk in town was that the promotion was a hoax. That is Kampala talk.

When no one walked away with the 88.2 Sanyu Fm and Ramzan Motors Beemer at the close of last year, idle talk in town was that the promotion was a hoax. That is Kampala talk.
Well, if you hadn’t yet known the Beemer is gone. Not to any tycoon, but to a 24-year-old apprentice worker at Balton Uganda. Jeff Bulega won the prized car last Saturday and it was a befitting prize for resilience. It was Jeff’s second try, after the first key he won last year failed to open the cage.
Jeff, a frequent Sanyu fm caller, won the car on the Sanyu breakfast show, exactly 24-hours before he claimed his prize.
“When the padlock opened, my fingers went numb. I just let it go and it fell. It is after I heard noise around me that I realised I had won the Beemer. The Beemer is the best present I will ever get,” Jeff said.
Sanyu’s Nash Kiwanuka expressed relief that the Beemer was gone. “We are grateful to our partners Ramzan motors. The future promises more for our unwavering fans,” he said.
