The Singles’ Association of Christ the King makes everybody that hears about it think hard

The Singles’ Association of Christ the King makes everybody that hears about it think hard. It is a club of young Christians who have finished their studies and in most cases are working, but for some reason are not yet married.

They meet and discuss topics that are relevant to their socio-economic and religious empowerment, as they prepare for marriage.

The singles held their annual fundraising dinner at Sitar restaurant (Workers’ House) on Friday. They parted with sh20,000 each. Serah, Joseph, Grace and Rugambwa, marrieds who formerly belonged to the club, gave testimonies and inspiring advice to their colleagues.

They asked the singles to suspend sex, until they got married.

Speeches were interjected with Gospel acapella and skits from members of the club.

The dinner closed with a fundraising function.
