THE London-Uganda Patriotic Assembly (LUPA) has urged Ugandans to shelve any frustrations and disappointments they may be experiencing after the just-concluded presidential and parliamentary elections and vote in the remaining elections.

THE London-Uganda Patriotic Assembly (LUPA) has urged Ugandans to shelve any frustrations and disappointments they may be experiencing after the just-concluded presidential and parliamentary elections and vote in the remaining elections, reports Patrick Jaramogi.

Addressing journalists at Christ the King Hall in Kampala on Tuesday, LUPA chairman Anthony Mula said, “We patriotically make this appeal to you at this moment in time, despite all the disappointment and frustration you may be feeling. You go and vote in the remaining elections for candidates of moral and political integrity.”

Mula, who is also the Makerere University G6 chairperson, said voting for people of moral integrity would help in fighting rigging in the 2011 elections.

Flanked by LUPA publicity secretary Davis Isabirye, Mula urged the Electoral Commission to ensure that the remaining elections are free from irregularities.
