THE former director of Mulago hospital, Dr. Edward Kironde Naddumba, has decried congestion at the hospital, saying it has an average population of 420,000 patients.

THE former director of Mulago hospital, Dr. Edward Kironde Naddumba, has decried congestion at the hospital, saying it has an average population of 420,000 patients.
He said approximately 120,000 were inpatients and 300,000 outpatients.
Naddumba was on Monday handing over office to the new director, Dr. Edward Ddumba.
He said outreach programmes for specialists support supervision to Kampala city council clinics is in the pipeline and such exercise would allow Mulago to offer better quality services.
