SIR - During the guild campaigns at Makerere University it was distressful to see students campaigning using posters of NRM and FDC! Are these guild leaders at Makerere the same as FDC and NRM leaders?

SIR - During the guild campaigns at Makerere University it was distressful to see students campaigning using posters of NRM and FDC! Are these guild leaders at Makerere the same as FDC and NRM leaders? What is the message really? Worse still, even newspapers and radio stations have caught the bug and you hear nonsense like: "so and so who is standing on the FDC ticket is leading with such and such a figure and the NRM candidate is trailing....blah blah"! What a misrepresentation!
