THE Jinja Municipal Council public relations officer, Simon Peter Kato (above), has died, reports Esther Mukyala.
Kato, 52, died at his home in Bukaya Triangle zone in Njeru on Saturday.
A postmortem carried out at Jinja Referral hospital said he died of stomach ulcers.
Kato, who is survived by a wife, Rebecca Naguma and four children, was buried in Kananage village in Kamuli on Monday.

A woman suspected to have killed her husband on September 13, 2005, has been committed to the High Court for trial.
Jinja deputy resident State attorney Irene nakimbugwe on Monday said anastanzia namatovu, 67, allegedly clobbered Yowana Kagenze on the head using a big stick, at Mafubira in Jinja.
