UGANDA Athletics Federation’s main sponsor MTN on Monday rewarded Commonwealth Games gold medalists Boniface Kiprop and Dorcus Inzikuru with $1,000 and air-time worth sh1m each.

UGANDA Athletics Federation’s main sponsor MTN on Monday rewarded Commonwealth Games gold medalists Boniface Kiprop and Dorcus Inzikuru with $1,000 and air-time worth sh1m each.
“We are now beginning to see the fruits of UAF, who have kept the faith even when success seemed to be for other countries. They have committed much time in identifying and nurturing talent,†said MTN Chief Executive Officer Noel Meier before handing over the package.
The two athletes handed over autographed kit they put on when they won gold in Melbourne .
UOC president Maj. Gen. Francis Nyangweso, Standard Chartered bank chief David Cutting, and Scandinavian Express’ Faisal Mohammed attended the dinner at Fang Fang restaurant.
Ministry official Aggrey Kibenge represented state sports minister Charles Bakkabulindi.
