LIRA — The Police have asked people transporting large sums of money to seek undercover security to avert robbery. District Police commander Ivan Nkwasibwe said the system could help the Police to arrest armed robbers who normally intercept people carrying money.

MOROTO — All roads will lead to the district on sunday to witness the Tekla Lorupe cross-country peace race. A 70-member delegation of officials and athletes from the Turkana and Pokot of Kenya, led by Kenyan government officials, will participate.
