Kurji is king
RIYAZ Kurji won the rally as predicted, even though he broke his shock-absorber and was limping towards the end of the rally.

Unlucky Lwakataka
Lwakataka proved that he had the pace but the car let him down. It was going to be difficult for such an inferior car to last the three days. I hope he gets a better car.

Ssebuguzi improved
Ssebuguzi was my driver of the rally because he was steady and consistent. He was even firmly in second position until an oil leakage forced him to take it easy. He is the most improved driver.

Anwar and Robinson
I am not surprised that Azar Anwar had a steady drive, and as I said earlier, he doesn't break a car. He only turned on the heat when it mattered in the last three sections. Robinson is such a clean and steady driver.

Katto and Muna Singh
It was unfortunate that Emma Katto went out early. It would have been nice to see how he would have fared in the competition. I don’t know what happened to Muna after he started quite well.

Charlie Lubega is a 4-time national champion and won the Pearl 3 times
