Cholera hits
KIBAALE — District director of health services Dr. Dan Kyamanywa has confirmed an acute cholera outbreak on landing sites on Lake Albert. “Stool samples taken to Wandegeya public laboratory tested positive for cholera,” he told journalists on Tuesday.

Man detained
KAMPALA — A man suspected of murdering three women, including a senior six student of Makerere College School was yesterday further remanded in Luzira Prison until May 8. Baker Walusimbi of Upper Konge, was remanded pending investigations.
