JINJA College is constructing a new hi-tech laboratory worth sh900m, reports Kibuuka Lumu.

This is meant to boost the teaching of sciences and computer studies.

The school’s director of studies, David Oryang, said the putting up of the laboratory was in response to government’s call to promote the teaching of sciences in the country. He also said the laboratory will double as a reserch centre.

Speaking to Education Vision recently, Oryang said the laboratory will assist those schools in the region that do not have laboratories.
