POSTBANK has started collateral free business loans for the informal sector enterprises to help boost their operations, usually constrained by inadequate capital.
Launching the product in Kampala over the weekend, Stephen Mukweli, the bank’s managing director, said the Biz Loan was a well-thought-out product to help the informal sector, a source of livelihood to the majority of Ugandans.
“It is a response to the request by our customers.
“It targets the informal sector working capital requirements and asset acquisition requirements of small and large businesses,†Mukweli said at the launch.
