<b>Girl drowns</b><br>IGANGA — A six-year-old girl drowned in a village spring on Friday evening. She is said to have slipped off the algae-caked logs laid on the spring.

IGANGA — A six-year-old girl drowned in a village spring on Friday evening. She is said to have slipped off the algae-caked logs laid on the spring. The incident occurred at Nakalama village in Nakalama sub-county. OC crime Benard Kiirya identified the deceased as Sarah Namulinda, daughter of Juma Twase of the same village.

ICT centre
KAMULI — The town council is set to establish a resource centre to assist residents access Information and communication Technology (ICT) services. Town clerk Kaloli Dhizaala said the project, to cost sh21m, is being funded under the local government development project.
