Dr. Patrick Okello of Amai Hospital yesterday said plans were underway to contain the outbreak. He said seven people were admitted at the hospital last week with measles. He mentioned Aputi and Namsale sub-counties as those that were most affected in Amolatar district.

A 70-year-old woman has appeared before court on suspicion that she killed her husband during a domestic brawl. Joyce Imorus is claimed to have killed Geoffrey Ocheke, after hitting him hard with a pestle on the head.
