SWEDEN-based Ugandan musician, Maddox Ssematimba of the Namagembe fame, has embarked on an international tour to promote his new album ‘Abato’.
SWEDEN-based Ugandan musician, Maddox Ssematimba of the Namagembe fame, has embarked on an international tour to promote his new album ‘Abato’.
In an interview in New York recently, Ssematimba said the album, which was released in July, has 12 tracks, seven of them in Luganda and the rest in English.
He said he had already toured several European countries and would visit the US and Canada before going to Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa, Kenya, West Africa and later Uganda.
Ssematimba said the response from the audience was impressive.
