FOR an ex-minister, you would expect him to still have the airs of importance around him.
However, Mondo Kagonyera seems to have chosen a humble path even after he fell out of cabinet. On Tuesday this week, the ex-minister of state in the prime minister’s office, was one of the customers at Nile Bank, Jinja road ‘held hostage’ when a Security Group bullion van arrived to deliver money. “Don’t move,†mean-looking soldiers ordered, with guns ready to shoot as the money was being transferred.
Although Kagonyera was a few yards from his sleek black Benz, he stood still for over 10 minutes, until the bullion van was gone.
