TIMOTHY Mudoola will have to prove his credentials against South Africa, France and Kenya in the George 7s this weekend.

The ace led a 12-man youthful rugby brigade to South Africa on Monday, ahead of the international George 7s that start tomorrow.

Mudoola is captain of a purely development side, that will miss the services of seniors Robert Seguya, Allan Musoke and Peter Magona.

Uganda will battle against powerful nations France and South Africa before taking on arch-rivals Kenya in group C.

Coach Tolbert Onyango, also a Kenyan former international, was confident the youngsters are already winners by participating in the tournament.

“This is a very important tournament for the side. playing against South Africa and France will give them the much needed exposure,” Onyango said before departure Monday.
