One person was killed and five others injured when a lorry overturned at Abalawu bridge on the Nebbi-Arua road last week.
Arua DPC James Taarushokye identified the deceased as Ofoko, the driver of the lorry, registration number UAB 917C.
He said the lorry, destined for Arua, was loaded with timber and five passengers.
“We have not yet established the cause of the accident but we suspect it was overloading and speeding,” Taarushokye said.

LIRA Woman MP Margaret Ateng has donated sh500,000 to St. Mark Awirilao church of Uganda in Adedokokwok sub-county for the construction of a new church.
Ateng is a member of the Church where she advised the people to be God-fearing. She advised Christians against drinking as it stoped them from being close to God.
