When the rain threatened to spoil the occasion, the director of Ndere family took advantage of this opportunity to show off the indoor auditorium. The ambassadors, invited by Ndere Centre for a cultural dinner and presentation last Friday, had camped in the open-air arena to watch the Ndere troupe perform. The Ndere dancers led the guests to the auditorium with a Kinyarwanda dance, as the raindrops got heavier. The dancers continued to display their different abilities limited by the confines of a closed stage.

They, however, still managed to impress the ambassadors who had spent the day at an All Ambassadors workshop in Worker's House, before retreating to Ndere centre. Stephen Rwangyezi, the founder and director of Ndere Troupe entertained the guest with his humourous speeches and jokes.

The highlight of the day though was when Betty Akidi and other girls danced to Acholi beats with up to seven clay pots delicately balancing on their heads!

The day was crowned with Okudi's Wipolo, played with local instruments as the guests stormed the floor for dance. Present were ambassadors' Edith Sempala, Philip Idro Banteka Sakajji, minister in charge of primary education, Nyombi Tembo and Busiro East MP Michael Sebalu, amongst others.
