THERE was no State House interference in the privatisation of the Dairy Corporation to a Thailand firm, the Presidentâ€™s political affairs aide has said.
Moses Byaruhanga said the president used his constitutional right to direct a minister to pass the corporation to the Thai firm for a nominal fee of US$1 (sh1,750).
He was on Tuesday addressing the weekly Uganda Journalist association press discourse in Kampala.
â€œThe Privatisation of the corporation was to reduce wastage of money. We are not aiming at only funds,â€ Byaruhanga said.
