JOURNALIST writing and broadcasting about Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) now have a reason to smile. Two organisations have joined hands to reward the best among them.
The I-Network, a group of organisations sharing knowledge on ICTs in Uganda and the International Institute of Communication for development (IICD) have instituted the Uganda ICT Journalism Awards.
The awards are expected to help raise competitive and increased reporting on ICTs in Uganda, while targeting the population of news consumers.
Information on I-Network’s website (www.i-network.or.ug) says ICT Journalism Awards are to reward insightful reportage of ICTs-related issues.
