It wiped out whole towns and resorts, leaving over 200,000 people dead or missing. Yet out of the destruction emerges a striking question: Why was the number of wild animals killed by the tsunami low? Did the animals have a ‘sixth sense’ that saved them? In this insightful one-hour documentary on April 10, Animal Planet (dstv), goes beyond the headlines and unveils the secrets of animal behaviour during natural disasters.
