He betrays ignorance of the contributions many disabled people make to our communities that is not researched but palpably bigoted.
One is as likely to encounter an able-bodied beggar with a mental disability, as another with a sound mind but with a physical disability, both denied an opportunity due to prejudice such as that of your reporter.
People get into these situations for a variety of reasons although that is not to excuse the bad behaviour some exhibit. Ian Nsajja Kabi London
