President Yoweri Museveni has appointed former deputy army commander Maj. Gen. Joram Mugume as chairman of the newly-established Military Land Board.

President Yoweri Museveni has appointed former deputy army commander Maj. Gen. Joram Mugume as chairman of the newly-established Military Land Board.
The board was inaugurated on Tuesday at the army headquarters in Bombo by the army commander, Lt. Gen. Aronda Nyakairima.
Present was the permanent secretary in the defence ministry, Gabindadde Musoke.
Mugume, the presidential adviser on military affairs, will be deputised by Col. Arthur Musinguzi.
Mugume will appoint other board members, among them surveyors.
