KAMPALA — Churches should address the concerns of unsafe abortion, the Provincial Secretary Church of Uganda, the Rev. Aaron Mwesigye, has said. He was addressing a reproductive health training workshop for the media at Hotel International in Muyenga recently.

Obote return
LUWEERO — The LC5 chairman, Hajji Abdul Nadduli, has said former President Milton Obote made him loose two teeth, adding that he should die in exile in Zambia. Nadduli said if he returned, Obote presence might incite violence. He said this at a war veterans’ meeting on Monday.

Team resigns
RAKAI — Kyotera town council executive members have resigned, citing insubordination by their mayor, Charles Mande Lugumya. They accused Lugumya of purchasing a car without consulting them. Lugumya was, however, happy, saying the committee was unruly.
