MAKERERE University Primary School (MUK) reached two finals in the Makerere region primary schools junior games taking place at Makerere University grounds on Wednesday.
The school beat Makerere Primary 1-0 in the semi-finals, but lost by the same margin to Makerere Church of Uganda (CoU).
Makerere CoU had beaten Wandegeya 6-5 in an 11-goal thriller.
Volleyball was a two-school affair as Remmy beat Good Shepherd by two straight sets in both the boys’, and girls’ category.
MUK again lost to Sunrise 13-11 in the netball final of the junior event.
The sports tournament that attracted over ten schools from Makerere region was aimed at selecting talent for the region ahead of the division games next month.
