THE business community should link up with their counterparts in Pakistan to benefit from Pakistan’s new policy to increase trade and investment opportunities in Africa, the Pakistan honorary Consul, Boney Katatumba, has said.
Katatumba said a strong relationship between the two countries would enable technology transfer from Pakistan, especially in the field of small-scale industries.
“Pakistan has distinguished herself in science and technology and, therefore, offers opportunities for investors in foreign countries. I urge the business community here to seize these venues to boost the ties between the two countries,” he said.
He said this during the 58th Pakistan Indepen-dence Day celebrations at the Consulate on Katatumba Suites in Kampala yesterday.
He said the recent trends in trade challenge developing countries to develop.
