The place to be last Friday night was Ange Noir Discothèque for the stars’ night featuring Michael Jackson.
The night started with the screening of Jackson’s background, which showed when he started his music career.
Emcees of the night, Bangi and Brenda Zobbo of Sanyu FM spiced the occasion.
Also present were KOMBAT dancers, who are known for having danced and directed Kipepeo video and performed at the launch of MTV-Base at the Basement.
They dressed like Jackson and thrilled the fans who clambered for space in Ange Mystique.
Songs like Will you be there, We are the World, Rock the world, You drive me crazy and criminal were reminiscent of Jackson’s days.
Looking at the big crowds that used to attend his concerts at the climax of his music career was a sensational inspiration.
Two male fans who imitated Jackson competed in break dance and were given CDs and portraits of the artiste.
In the end, it was Herbert Kyomuhendo, who best thrilled the crowd at Ange Mystique and won the competition.
He followed the beats of the Criminal and Rock my world.
