SIR — Uganda’s humanitarian response to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, USA is commendable.
SIR — Uganda’s humanitarian response to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, USA is commendable.
However, it is strange that we should have chosen to send them money when Uganda might have received that very money from America. It would have been more reasonable if we had sent them what we produce, like bogoya or ovacadoes.
Our response is a mere token, after all.
