THE LC1 chairman of Bwizi cell in Kamwenge district, David Byaruhanga, is one of four suspects held in connection with the murder of Yasin Byaruhanga.
Allan Turyaguma reports that the OC/CID, Kassim Bagonza on Friday said Byaruhanga’s mutilated body was recovered from Kabarungi forest. He had been cut and stabbed several times.
Bagonza identified the other suspects as David Byaruhanga, Charles Keiragura and Monday.
“We suspect that more than four people participated in Byaruhanga’s murder. They carried the body about four miles from the crime scene to the forest,†he said.
Bagonza said last month some people had invaded the home of Byaruhanga, 42, cut his banana plantations and vandalised his household property, allegedly over accusations of bewitching a resident who died earlier.
