SIR — I have read with trepidation that Makerere University is to hold two graduation ceremonies on consecutive days.
SIR — I have read with trepidation that Makerere University is to hold two graduation ceremonies on consecutive days.
One day was already bad enough for
traffic disruption, but two! Why can’t the ceremonies be on Saturdays when traffic is not so heavy?
Perhaps the government should declare a public holiday and save motorists the inconvenience. Can’t Makerere research into better ways to hold their ceremonies without causing headache to the public?
