KAMPALA, Monday — Uganda has told the DR Congo to arrest and hand over Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) rebels who have allegedly sought asylum in the state, officials said Monday.
Foreign minister Sam Kuteesa said Kampala had informed Kinshasa and the UN Mission in the DRC of its request and was awaiting a response.

Arms law due

A law regulating the manufacture, importation and export of small arms and light weapons in the Great Lakes region is due.
