KELVIN Shaun Investments, a lime miner in Kasese, has clinched a deal to supply 2,000 tonnes of lime worth sh450m to a Chinese construction company.

Charles Musekura, the managing director, said recently that the lime is being supplied to China Chingquing International Construction Corporation for the upgrading of the 60km road in Pakwach.

“We signed the contract from September to December. The lime will be used for road stabilisation.

“Lime binds with murram to provide a hard surface,” Musekura said.
