Pastor Robert Kayanja has called upon Ugandans to be more patriotic about their country.

“Achieving 43 years is not a small thing. It’s not everyday that we celebrate 43 years. We should be thanking God for this big achievement,” Kayanja said.

He was on Sunday addressing thousands of Christians at Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral. The service was dedicated to pray for the nation for celebrating its 43rd independence anniversary.

Kayanja said Ugandans needed to learn to love their country.

He said, “Ugandans should start praying for Uganda, the Pearl of Africa and grow to love it as their own.”
