SIR — I am a resident of Tula Kirokole Kawempe and I am deeply disappointment with Umeme. The company came with promises of change and efficiency but in areas like mine this is still a dream! We are consistently the target of unscheduled loadshedding and endless ‘faults’.

How does Umeme expect a customer to keep paying bills promptly when one is shamelessly denied electricity for three days? Electricity is not a luxury but a necessity and what is more, we pay for it through the nose!
