Bekele says
ETHIOPIA’s long distance runner and 2003 World gold medallist, Kenenisa Bekele and compatriot Berhane Adere jetted into Nairobi on Thursday afternoon for the 6th World Conference on Sport and Environment. Bekele, 5,000 and 10,000m world record holder until 2004 said he wanted to emulate Haile Gebresellasie.

Uganda set
KENYA International Open Darts championships starts in Nairobi Friday with Uganda and Tanzania teams featuring in the annual event.
