Students for awards

Ten students, from Kyambogo University and nine from Makerere, are set to showcase their creations during the second Students Fashion Awards on November 26. The awards, organised by Arapapa Consultancy, are part of the various events that will feature during the Uganda International Fashion Week, which will run from November 24-27 at Lugogo Shopping Mall. The awards recognise excellent students from different Ugandan universities and other higher institutions of learning in the discipline of fashion design. The ten finalists, who were selected last Saturday at Al Fiesta Bar and Restaurant on Lumumba Avenue, include Sarah Nabisubi, Patricia Nampiima, Jane Muga, Anthony Dibzo, Analia Nalusimbi, Rebecca Achien, Carolyne Natabazi, Gerald Kato and Justine Namatovu, all from Makerere University. Chrispina Masendi will represent Kyambogo University.
