GULU — Over 60 UPDF deserters and civilians without proper identification were last week netted in two separate security operations in the municipality, sources said. A source said 20 civilians and UPDF deserters were arrested on Friday in Layibi industrial area and go-down. Earlier in the week, 40 UPDF deserters and civilians had been netted in Bar Dege division.

‘No bribery’
