That she lost out to Titi as the best female artist, at the Pearl of Africa Music Awards last year, was deemed as an enormous musical upset by industry pundits who know better. Miriam Ndagire, was not fazed in the least!
Ndagire has now released a Valentine’s day song. The track, Ekimuli Kyo, which has a sizeable amount of radio play on the air waves was written by the songbird herself and produced by Travis Kazibwe.
The singer will be amongst the multitude of local musicians slated to perform at the Kirabo Kyabagalana concert at Hotel Africana on Valentine’s day.
The show will kick off at 7:00pm and
features local music stars Titi, Silver Kyagulanyi, Phoebe Nassolo, Willy Mukabya, Angela Kalule and Gerald Kiwewa.
Ndagire says the song will be part of a new album she is currently assembling, a project she falteringly says will be released mid this year. Well, all we can do is to just wait and see.
