The kenyan movie festival starts today at the national theatre. The festival, presented by Alwan communications with the support of Alliance Française, the National Theatre and WBS TV, will last four days starting today, February 27, to Monday March 1, 2004.

The kenyan movie festival starts today at the national theatre. The festival, presented by Alwan communications with the support of Alliance Française, the National Theatre and WBS TV, will last four days starting today, February 27, to Monday March 1, 2004.

Three films will be shown each day at 1.00pm, 4.00 pm and 7.00pm.

Alwan is a Nairobi based Kenyan company.

“Together with Alliance Francaise, which promotes culture among different societies, Alwan Communications encourages all to come and support African cinema,” says a press release from Alliance Francaise.

A film production discussion will take place today at 2.30 pm at the National Theatre main auditorium.
The objective of the discusion is to share experience and expertise in the profession of film making in East Africa.
