TORO King Oyo Nyimba has asked his subjects to promote the Runyoro/Rutooro languages.
This was in a message read by Prof. Oswald Ndoleriire at the opening of the Toro Rukurato (Parliament) at Mucwa in Kabarole recently.


Students held

Dick Agaba and Ivan Niwagaba, both S.4 students of Rukungiri High School, are being held by the Police in Rukungiri for allegedly staging a road- block with an intention of robbing people.
The two were arrested on Friday for allegedly attempting to rob Bernard Bamukomeire and Boaz Musinguzi on Rubabo - Kihindi road.

CAO orders

The chief administrative officer of Kasese, Giles Kahika, has ordered a reshuffle in the finance department.
Kahika said this while addressing LC3 leaders at Kasese Catholic Social services hall recently.
He decried the low revenue collection.
